Description
A deadly meth lab explosion in a run-down Philadelphia motel covers a brutal murder. A shooting in a popular tourist location has left two dead. The body of a headless Latina turns up in the Schuylkill River. Everybody assumes the crimes are not related, but Homicide Sergeant Matthew Payne can't shake the hunch that there's something more to it. That hunch leads him to a connection to the Texas-Mexico border in the person of Jim Byrth of the Texas Rangers, who's come to Philadelphia to track a nasty murderer with Mexican cartel connections.
