Notes

Description
" Jasmine is a 19-year-old college freshman studying accounting at UNLV--and a professional dancer in Las Vegas. After being date-raped by the director of her show, Jasmine gets pregnant. She tries to keep the baby and support it on her own, but is finding it hard. She no longer can practice enough to be a great dancer, and drops out of school. After a fateful decision, she is forced to acknowledge that she can't take care of her daughter and gives her up for adoption. She returns home to New Jersey where she gets a job as a waitress. One day her dance instructor from high school comes into the restaurant where Jasmine is working and offers her a job teaching dance to teens. When she finds herself back on her feet and self-sufficient, she is determined to get her daughter back." -- publisher's website.
