Description
The Science Squad is a science outreach program of the Biological Sciences Initiative (BSI) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The Science Squad is a group of graduate students from science and engineering departments who visit K-12 school classrooms to lead inquiry-based, hands-on science presentations for the K-12 students. Most of the presentations are aimed at secondary (middle and high school) levels, with a few available for elementary grades. This program provides an intensive teaching experience to Squad members as well as a science enrichment experience for the K-12 students and teachers.
